Aside from the outstanding care and customer service we strive to provide, we truly want to share in the joys of our patients’ lives. Jason Juarez, DDS
Dentist
Dr. Juarez moved to the Asheville area from Northwest Ohio, where he was the owner of Defiance Center of Dentistry and performed all services associated with general dentistry. He is a graduate of The Ohio State University, receiving his degree in 1997. Over the years Dr. Juarez has served as the President of Maumee Valley Dental Society and a Spear Faculty Club Member. He is also a Faculty Member of Light Force America, which is a group dedicated to the treatment of malocclusions with light, gentle forces. [MORE]
Dr. Juarez and his wife, Laura, have two children, 16 year old Jack and 14 year old Maya. They also have two dogs, Augustus and Lucas. In his spare time Dr. Juarez enjoys playing basketball with his son, golfing, and being outside.
Fun Fact: He is also a DJ but saves this talent mostly for his daughter’s school events and house parties. [LESS]
Ryan Orlosky, DMD, FAGD

Dr. Orlosky is originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and has traded in his “Yinz” for “Y’all” as a North Carolina resident since 2016. He is a graduate of The Ohio State University, obtaining a bachelor’s degree in biology with honors and research distinction. During his undergraduate education, Dr. Orlosky worked with the Pelotonia research fellowship, an organization driven by its mission to support cancer research. Dr. Orlosky received his DMD degree from the University of Pittsburgh where he served as class president. He was recognized during his dental education by the American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID) for his achievements in implant dentistry. [MORE]
Dr. Orlosky has served as a licensed general dentist in North Carolina, serving the communities of Raleigh and Charlotte prior to his move to Asheville. He has completed further education, including an implant fellowship at the Triangle Dental Institute, which culminated in his fellowship award with the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI) in 2017. In 2021 Dr. Orlosky received his fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry, demonstrating a commitment to continuing education and joining the 6% of general dentists to have earned this award. Dr. Orlosky has achieved certification through the American Academy of Facial Esthetics (AAFE) to provide Botox® therapy for patients with orofacial pain, bruxism, TMD, migraines and more.
Dr. Orlosky’s commitment to serve spans locally and abroad. He has led two mission trips to Jamaica to provide dental care to the community of Hopewell, St. Elizabeth at the Helping Hand Dental Clinic. Dr. Orlosky has also worked with North Carolina’s Mission of Mercy (MOM), providing dental services at no cost to patients across the state. He looks forward to future opportunities to serve the Asheville community through Zöe Dental’s Servants of Smiles and Smiles for Freedom events.
Dr. Orlosky loves to travel and explore the outdoors. Since his move to Asheville he has enjoyed exploring the Blue Ridge Mountains, with his favorite hike to date being Black Balsam Knob. He recently received his scuba diving certification and is looking forward to future underwater adventures. Dr. Orlosky is deeply passionate about food, ingrained in him through his Italian heritage, and enjoys hosting friends in the kitchen with his partner Will. Dr. Orlosky’s family also includes their adopted pets - Porter (dog) and Merlin (cat).

Perry Stamatiades, DDS, MAGD

Dr. Stamatiades is a native of Asheville and the Founder and CEO of Zöe Dental. After earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from UNC-Chapel Hill School of Dentistry in 2002, Dr. Stamatiades completed a one-year residency at Palmetto Richland Memorial Hospital in Columbia, SC. focusing on comprehensive dentistry and working with medically compromised patients. Later in 2006, he completed a mini residency in dental implants from the Misch Institute, which is affiliated with Temple University. [MORE]
Dr. Stamatiades has served as President of the Buncombe County Dental Society and has been named WLOS News 13 Person of the Week. He has been awarded the prestigious American Dental Association International Service Award and the North Carolina Dental Society Commendation Award. He has co-authored two journal articles, one of which has appeared in the esteemed Journal of the American Dental Association. Dr. Stamatiades has also authored a book; Saving Your Smile: Your Guide to a Healthier Smile and a Healthier You which was released in 2018.
Dr. Stamatiades strongly believes in giving back to the community. He has orchestrated a free day of dentistry through his office called Servants of Smiles, as well as providing a free day of dentistry for Veterans with Smiles for Freedom. When he is not promoting oral health, you can find him spending time with his growing family, hiking, reading, and enjoying the mountains. [LESS]
Kelly Van Wagenen, DDS, FAGD, D.ABDSM

A native of Coventry Connecticut, Dr. Kelly Van Wagenen, and her husband moved to the area and are excited to call Asheville, NC home. Dr. Van Wagenen obtained a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Hartford in Connecticut with a major in Respiratory Therapy. She went on to receive her DDS from SUNY-Buffalo in Buffalo, NY, and completed a one-year Advanced Education in the General Dentistry Residency Program through East Carolina University at a dental practice located in Sylva, NC. Dr. Van-Wagenen chose to further her education by completing a residency program at East Carolina University’s Advanced Education in General Dentistry, located in Sylva, NC. This program allowed her to expand her skills in all aspects of general dentistry, including but not limited to, dental implants, crown and bridge, root canal treatment, extractions, and pre-prosthetic surgery.
While Dr. Van Wagenen had always intended on pursuing a career in dentistry, she obtained her Bachelor of Science Degree in Respiratory Care at the University of Hartford in West Hartford, CT. She was awarded for Outstanding Academic and Clinical Performed by the Connecticut Society for Respiratory Care. She acquired her certification as a Registered Respiratory Therapist, which is recognized as the “standard of excellence” in the field. She worked at Hartford Hospital, a Level 1 Trauma Center. She currently practices Dental Sleep Medicine by providing dental sleep apnea appliances to patients in the area. She is WNC’s only dental provider who was also a certified Registered Respiratory Therapist.
Dr. Van Wagenen remains committed to staying up to date on the current dental literature through Continuing Education. She also continues to practice philanthropy, most recently by providing free dental care at Zöe Dental’s Servants of Smiles event. Her love for animals finds her volunteering at Asheville’s local Brother Wolf Animal Rescue. During her free time, Dr. Van Wagenen enjoys hiking, running, riding bikes, and enjoying the amazing views that Asheville has to offer.
