We know that good oral health can have a significant impact on your overall health. Countless studies show strong correlations between the condition of your teeth and gums and many diseases in the rest of your body. That’s why we believe that preventive maintenance is the smartest thing you can do to stay healthy.
For most people, this involves a twice-a-year dental health visit that includes a medical history review and dental cleaning. We go the extra yard and also include an oral cancer exam, periodontal disease screening, tooth decay exam, radiographic exam, and home care instruction.
We conduct all these screenings using modern techniques and the latest equipment. Our patients rave about the advanced way we remove plaque and calculus that build up on your teeth, telling us that it’s fast, effective, and comfortable. We use an Ultrasonic Cleaner that sprays water and vibrates hard calculus and plaque off the teeth.
To help protect teeth from cavities, we apply a topical fluoride varnish that protects for up to six months. And with early detection of decay or infection, we can reverse the breakdown of enamel by using MI Paste™, a prescription calcium paste.
