Hi... I'm
Jason Juarez, DDS
Dentist
I’ve spent more than 20 years helping patients feel more comfortable, confident, and cared for in the dental chair. Before making Asheville home, I practiced in Ohio after graduating from The Ohio State University College of Dentistry in 1997. I later completed my residency at the VA Medical Center in Salt Lake City and continued advanced training in dental implants through the Midwest Implant Institute.
What I love most about dentistry is helping people change the way they feel about coming to the dentist. For many patients, dental anxiety is very real, and I never take that lightly. One of the most rewarding parts of my job is helping someone walk out feeling calmer, healthier, and more confident than when they came in. I’m certified through the North Carolina Dental Board to safely administer conscious sedation for patients who need a little extra support feeling at ease during treatment.
I believe dentistry works best when patients feel heard, respected, and involved in their care. Whether we’re restoring a smile, relieving discomfort, or simply helping someone stay healthy long term, I want every patient to feel like we’re working together, not just checking boxes.
Outside the office, I spend most of my time with my wife, Laura, our children, Jack and Maya, and our dogs, Augustus and Lucas. You’ll usually find me shooting hoops with my son, spending time with family, or enjoying everything Western North Carolina has to offer.
And yes… outside of dentistry, I also happen to be a DJ. Turns out reading a crowd and helping people relax comes in handy in more than one setting.
