Financial Agreements & Insurance

We are committed to providing you with the best possible care. We would like our patients to be informed of our office's financial policy. If you have dental insurance, we are committed to helping you receive your maximum allowable benefits. In order to achieve these goals, we need your assistance and your understanding of our financial policy.

You are expected to pay for our services at the time they are rendered.

We accept cash, personal checks, and credit cards. In addition, we offer excellent third-party financial payment plans. Learn more about Care Credit and Apply Now.

Insurance Information

Insurance can be frustrating and complicated; that’s why we file insurance for you.

Please keep in mind that as dental care providers, our relationship is with you, the patient, not your insurance company. Most dental plans do not cover 100% of the cost of your treatment.

Although we accept and file with all dental insurances, we are not considered in-network with any dental insurance. This is so that we can treat you based on your individual dental needs and not just what your dental insurance states you can have. That being said, our patients who do have dental insurance find little to no difference in the amount their insurance pays with our office versus an in-network provider. We are happy to do a complimentary benefits check for you upon your arrival to our office.

We ask that you realize that we do NOT work for an insurance company. Rather, we work 100% for our patients. We feel that insurance can be a great benefit for many patients and want you to know we will do everything in our power to ensure you get every benefit allotted in your insurance contract.

However, the treatment we recommend and the fees we charge will always be based on your individual needs, not your insurance coverage. We must emphasize that the dental insurance contract is an agreement between you and your insurance company; therefore, you are ultimately responsible for the charges, regardless of the insurance coverage.

We cannot render services on the assumption that the charges will be paid for by the insurance company. We will work diligently to help you maximize your benefits, however, all charges are your responsibility from the date the services are rendered. Not all services are covered benefits in all contracts. Some insurance companies arbitrarily select certain services they will not cover.

Be familiar with the benefits and eligibility on your specific dental plan(s) for 2018.

Being here just for a few months can present problems when in need of a doctor or dentist. Friday I experienced severe tooth pain and realized it was something of an emergency. Zoe Dental graciously gave me an appointment the next afternoon, Saturday. Chelsea and Dr. Stamatiades saw me. As a Boeing 777 captain for a major airline I care about professionalism, customer service, safety, and technical competency. I can honestly say that both Chelsea and Dr. S. demonstrated the highest levels of all of these elements. The doctor took his time examining and explaining everything to me about the situation and we jointly decided on a treatment plan which I am pleased to say, a day later, was successful. I was in agonizing pain on Friday and going into Saturday. Today is Sunday and it's like nothing ever happened. My wife and I spend three to five months about an hour and a half west of Asheville but we will now be lifelong patients of Zoe Dental. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

I cannot say enough about the amazing staff at Zoe Dental! I recently became a new patient with this dental office. The second I walked into the office, I felt like family. I have extreme dental anxiety. I explained this to the person who scheduled my appointment, on the phone, and she assured me, I was going to be well taken care of at my initial visit. She could not have been more calming! The front desk staff is like a welcoming committee, they hand you the Comfort Menu and immediately you just relax. Amy did my cleaning, what an amazing hygienist she is! She went above and beyond to lower my blood pressure :)! I felt like I was sitting in the First Class section of a plane going on vacation. IF you have dental anxiety, please schedule an appointment with this office, today! You will leave, like I did, actually looking forward, yes I said that, to your next visit.
At my next visit, Tyler was the assistant, and again, amazing amounts of compassion and caring were felt from start to finish with my procedure. I have been going to Zöe dental for the past 7 years. I have always been amazed by the service, the amenities and the welcoming presence of the place. Yesterday I came in to get my teeth cleaned. I had wanted to cancel due to a burgeoning migraine but soldiered on. I’m glad I did. My hygienist was kind, empathic and personable. She offered up healing peppermint oil and a neck pillow to enhance my already relaxing heated and back-massaging chair.It was like being at a spa while having a dental cleaning. I am amazed at how far dentistry and patient care has come when you come to Zöe dental. This is a great crew, a great space. I highly recommend them for all your dental needs even beyond a cleaning...and believe me I’ve had a few!

They are so professional and comprehensive, and additionally (and very significantly to me) very personable and proactive when it comes to addressing your concerns and comfort during treatment.
