Sleep Apnea

If you have Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA), you know the negative impact it can have on your health and relationships. We offer custom-fitted oral appliances based on first-hand knowledge.

What is Obstructive Sleep Apnea?
Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA) is due to the collapse of the soft palate and jaw of the mandible limiting, and at times temporarily blocking, the flow of air into the lungs. OSA is a physical blockage of the airway which is not the same as Central Sleep Apnea where the brain “forgets” to tell the body to breathe. Central Sleep apnea can only be treated with a C-PAP machine. Since OSA is a physical issue rather than a physiological one, we can use custom–fitted oral appliances that prevent the jaw of the mandible and soft palate from obstructing the airway.
What Are The Symptoms?
If you suffer from any of these symptoms, we can work with outside sleep professionals to diagnose and treat your condition accordingly.

Don't Ignore the Symptoms of Sleep Apnea.
It is not safe to let a sleep apnea condition go undetected and untreated for too long. Be aware of the symptoms of sleep apnea and take action if you seem to suffer from any of them. It never hurts to undergo a diagnosis for sleep apnea, as it becomes especially important if you do have the condition. Contact us for a consultation.
